The day to day operations of both schools are run by the on-site staff and our Executive Directors, Gregg & Rawda Doolittle. The staff and directors are accountable to a U.S. based board of directors.

Gregg and Rawda Doolittle (Board Members)

Gregg is originally from Michigan and Rawda was born and raised in Nazareth, Israel.  They met on the mission field in the mid-seventies, were married, and have worked together ever since.  They’ve served the Lord in France and Egypt, and eventually settled in Palestine.  Gregg has a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Wheaton Graduate School and Rawda has teaching certificates from the Teachers’ Training College in Haifa and the CEF Training Institute in Basel.  They have two grown daughters and five incredible grandchildren.  Gregg and Rawda serve through Pioneers, and have been our on-site directors for The Hebron School since 1999.  They added duties for the Bethlehem Academy upon its debut in 2014.  Both are multi-lingual and have a deep understanding of the culture in which they serve.

Ron Armstrong (President Emeritus)

Ron worked for a humanitarian NGO for a number of years, giving him an exposure to various ministries in the Middle-East and around the world.  With a burden for the needs of children he and his late wife J.J. started Holy Land Ministries in 1982, and took over control of The Hebron School upon the retirement of the school founders. After having nurtured The Hebron School for almost 30 years,  J.J. passed away in 2018, but Ron still remains active on the board and as an Ambassadors-at-large for HLM. He lives in the Tulsa area with extended family.

Dave Garrison (President) and Lois Garrison (Board Member)

Dave and Lois are originally from Rhode Island, having settled in Indianapolis in the mid-nineties when Dave took over the family business.  Lois has spent her time raising their four children, hairdressing part time, and being active in various ministries through their local church.  Upon Dave’s retirement in 2012, and the nest getting emptier with their youngest heading to college, they searched for a ministry they could serve in together, and found it in Holy Land Ministries.  They have had a burden for children for a number of years, teaching Sunday School and being involved in their church youth group.  HLM now allows both of them to combine their heart for children with their respective giftedness by serving in leadership roles that primarily focus on domestic administrative duties.

John and Leslie Osborne (Board Members)

John and Leslie Osborne are from the Milwaukee area where they have raised their three children (and are now blessed with three grandchildren). The Osbornes were introduced to this ministry through their active participation in their home church- John as an elder and Leslie as a staff member.  John has been a professional geologist for over 30 years, mostly involved in environmental issues. His experience managing six offices has equipped John with a variety of skills that are useful to Holy Land Ministries- including strategic planning, financial management, and staff engagement. Leslie served in Children, Youth, and Family Ministry for 30 years- responsible for leadership and strategic planning, managing a team of leaders, and coordinating the activities of over 100 volunteers. She was a co-founder of a college prep academy, serving as President for 15 years.  The Osbornes are also active overseas, spending time in many places, including Guatemala, Eastern Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East.
